Planet Earth

Rutaba didn’t even flinch when Inugami dropped in between them. His eyes snapped straight to the dumplings mid-chew, completely hijacked. His head tilted, nose twitching as he leaned in closer. “…You brought food?” His stomach growled right on cue. For a second that was all that mattered, but the voices kept overlapping and his attention bounced right along with them.

His gaze flicked from Inugami to Veylora, then back to Liari as she snapped again. He blinked, then grinned wider. She was still the same. When she corrected him about the tournament being in West City, he tilted his head the other way. “…West City?” He shrugged like it didn’t matter. “Same thing.” It clearly wasn’t, but Rutaba had already moved on.

He rolled his shoulders and threw a quick shadow punch into the air, stance loose but ready. “I was training,” he said, like that explained everything. “Gotta hit harder this time.” A flicker of blue ki sparked around his fist, tighter and steadier than before, before fading.

His attention shifted again, locking more closely onto Liari and Veylora. He noticed the difference in how Liari looked at her. His tail slowed for half a second. “…Huh.” He didn’t say anything else, but he definitely clocked it.

When Liari told him and Inugami to leave, Rutaba’s grin only widened. He didn’t move an inch. Instead, the second she took off, he dropped into a crouch and launched after her in a burst of speed, completely ignoring that he wasn’t invited.

When they reached West City, Rutaba slowed mid-air, hovering just above the streets as his eyes widened. “…Woah…” Lights, people, noise, movement — it all hit at once. His tail started swaying faster as his head turned side to side, trying to take everything in. He dropped down near the arena with the others, barely able to stand still.

“Ohhh…” he murmured, leaning forward as he watched fighters step up one by one. Every punch, every number, every reaction — his eyes tracked it all, sharp and focused.

When Liari struck the machine and the number flashed 203, Rutaba’s eyes widened slightly, then his grin crept back. “Not bad.”

The moment she was cleared, he hopped forward and slipped into line like he belonged there. He bounced lightly on his feet, glancing between the machine and his own fist. When it was his turn, he stepped up without hesitation. No stretching, no buildup — just a quick roll of his shoulder. He pulled his fist back, blue ki flickering tightly around it, then drove it forward hard.

The machine rattled from the impact. Rutaba didn’t even look at the number right away. Instead, he turned his head slightly toward Liari, a small grin forming like that mattered more than the result. Only after a second did his eyes flick back to the flashing score, his grin widening just a bit more.

Then a familiar presence hit.

Rutaba’s head snapped toward it instantly — Eschal, the mysterious space cop. His grin stretched wider, something sharper and wilder behind it now. “Oh—you’re here too?!”

He bounced once on his toes, tail lashing excitedly behind him as his eyes lit up like he just found a new training partner. “This is gonna be awesome! Now we can all fight together and see who’s the strongest!

As participants were entering the waiting room, Eschal leaned against the wall as if it was his spot, his eyes closed until a voice quite familiar erupted with clear annoyance. Slowly his eyes opened, its blue iris slowly revealing themselves as his eyes slowly avert towards the source of the voice. Low and behold it was Majin Liari proclaiming why he was here, generally ignoring her attempts to insult his career, he responded to her general question of why he was here,
"Technically I was here first... And can't a guy just enjoy a small martial arts tournament? But that begs the real question... How are you alive? And why are YOU here?"
But before he could get his answer another voice came as Rutaba, the saiyan child who was brutally beaten by Liari was now bouncing in front of him, with his usage of Ki sensory, he could tell the boy had gotten significantly stronger, but the reality is though Rutaba wanted to see who was stronger Eschal already knew the answer, it was a drastic gap difference...
"I see you've still got alot of energy, good to see that you healed up after that fight last week... Though You best focus on making it far in the tournament and pray the brackets are fair."
He responded calmly, his hands still in his pockets as he slowly removed his left hand unclipping the ray gun holster as he grabbed his weapon he tossed it to Liari,
"Consider this payment for aiding in my new found growth of strength. Latest model of the Galactic patrol Ray gun. Though Unlikely we are allowed weapons in the tournament, I plan on just relying on martial arts."
He said as he slid his hand back into his pocket, his eyes slowly closing once more as if steeling his mind; but in reality he was calculating scenarios now that liari was in the tournament of how he will manage to beat her in a basic martial arts. He knows her body is malleable, elastic and can move in unorthodox ways, making a fight against her quite irritable, though he doesn't show it on his face, rather he simply looks calm.

"alright lets go, hopefully we get to know each other better unlike last time me and Liari met" giving her a side eye "Don't go on a fade rampage" he says before taking off and following everyone to the west city where he hopes to meet more potential warriors there and bond with a few who can relate with him. Once there, he would follow everyone to the entry, where he would witness Liari punching the machine where it displayed her number, but sensed the familiar presence of the older male he had seen and fought with, but apparently, he wasn't the only one when he heard the boy comment to Eschal, the cop from space "Ah i see your here to participate in the tournament, and i can see you have healed nicely" adressing the male

Veylora didn’t react to the city the way the others did. The noise, the lights, the constant movement all blurred together around her, never quite touching. She moved at her own pace, steady, unbothered, like none of it mattered unless she chose it to. Her attention stayed on Liari more than anything. The way she snapped, the way she lit up, the way she didn’t try to hide any of it. Loud, impulsive, honest. Different, it made her feel a little anxious, comparing her life in the demon realm to the bright and bustling city, walking past people who didn't seem to care about her, it was.. odd

At the registration area, she drifted off to the side and watched for a bit. People stepping up, swinging hard, waiting for a number like it meant something. When Liari took her turn, Veylora’s eyes lingered just a little longer. The result didn’t surprise her. Rutaba came next, still rough around the edges, still pushing too much out instead of holding it in. But better than before. Noticeably better.

After a moment, Veylora stepped forward the sounds of her heels clicking against the stone ground soon giving away her intention.

“So I just hit it?”

The attendant nodded.

She raised her hand. No stance, no winding up. Just a clean, simple motion. For a split second, something tightened beneath the surface, like everything pulled inward and locked into place, her fist tapped the pad, not loud. Not flashy, the machine jumped anyway. numbers climbed fast, faster than the ones before it, then slowed, then stopped clean.

666. The mark of the Devil
1777165377499.png

No flicker. No strain. Like it landed exactly where she wanted it, Veylora lowered her hand and gave the machine a quick look, then glanced back at the attendant.

“…That works.”

She didn’t wait for a response. Her attention shifted back to Liari, like the rest of it barely mattered.

“You thrive here? you.. like it? I must say its.. brighter than the Demon Realm”

Her eyes dipped slightly, taking in the way Liari moved through everything like she belonged there.

“And you still walked away from it.”

A small pause.

“…to see me?”

No smile, no change in tone. Just said, Then she stepped past them, like the test was already behind her, yet something stirred in Veylora's heart at this moment

“I assume that means I’m in?”

Khelani has been waiting quite some time in the line for things to actually get moving but eventually began moving pretty fast paced. Though when she heard someone saying "been a while", it prompted her to turn around to find the saiyan patrolman who she battled alongside in order to defeat that Liari Majin.
Khelani: Yea, it's been a couple weeks. Glad you're still alive, you were in a pretty bad way. As for what this is, it looks like some kind of fight gathering.

Pretty soon, it was her turn to sign up which she did quickly and waited for the others in the waiting room alongside Eschal. Once there is when everyone was surrounding some kind of machine with a red pad in the center; at first, she was thinking to herself about what it could be; But pretty soon a few people hit it, which caused numbers to display above the pad. It was that moment when she realized what it was. Eschal had went before her and revealed his number, so far, he had the highest one, Though, shortly after, a few other faces showed up, including the very being she thought they had killed a couple weeks ago. After her, the kid she saved from the explosion also made an appearance along with the other human and someone new. The numbers were high compared to the first few, 275, 203, 666, etc. Finally, when it was her turn, she stepped up to the machine and gave a glance at the person responsible for keeping the scores.
Khelani: Hey, I can kick this thing too right?
Guy: Sure why not. Just don't break it.
Khelani: Cool

In that instant, Khelani switched her stance to one more like a Taekwondo stance then proceeded to slide the toes of her foot across the pavement which caused dust and smoke to kick up and trail along her foot as she lifted it from the ground and making impact with the machine's pad. The machine rattled and bounced backwards a couple feet as the number revealed itself as 497.
Khelani: Well, not quite what i was expecting.
Khelani (Mind): Wow, I had more power than I thought. Neat!

After everyone had shown up, completed their registration sign ups and the machine punching for entry, the Tenkaichi Tournament was almost ready to begin. As such, the next thing to happen was the 2 other officials rolls into the waiting room with a large box, filled with small tennis ball like spheres which all held numbers on them from 1 to 16 along with a large screen which will showcase the lineup of the tournament once everyone pulled their numbers.
Tournament Official Guy: Alright everyone, now that your signups are complete and you all qualified. This is what will be happening next. Your named will be called up one by one to step up next to large box here which will be filled with small spheres numbered from 1 through 16. After doing so, a generator do random rolls which will determine what number links up with the next. Meaning, it will determine who you will be up against for the first line-up.
Tournament Official Lady: After which, your lineup will appear on this screen here. After each battle, one opponent will move up the bracket for the next battle. All pretty simple, BUT! For now you all may start coming forwards starting with Liari then moving to Rutaba, etc.

Outside in the main area, the crowd had finally gathered and been seated as the proctor for the tournament finally began speaking.
Tournament Proctor: ALRIIIIGHT EVERYONE WELCOME TO THE TENKAICHI TOURNAMENT! We will begin here shortly with all the fights that you came to watch, BUT! While they're finishing up in the back, we have a special treat for you all. The amazing girl group B-Komachi is here and will be doing an open performance! ENJOY!

"The better question is..." Liari grumbles, frustrated. "...How many vacation days DO you have? Shouldn't you be off chasing some space-thieves or something?" Eschal would counter her question with one of his own, asking HOW she survived! Liari 'tsk'ed' and waved a hand as if brushing aside his question.

"You can't kill me. Don't even try." Liari said plainly. The Majin would turn back to see everyone starting to funnel into the waiting room themselves, passing the little punch-machine test with no real difficulty. As expected. As Eschal began talking with Rutaba, Liari spotted Veylora make her way in, The Majin smiling seeing that she had chosen to participate. She was about to walk over to her, congratulate her on her success, as minor an achievement as it was... before Eschal tossed something at her. Without looking, the Majin reached out a tentacle and snatched it out of the air, pulling it around to her face to see...

"The gun..."

Suddenly, Liari grew a HUGE smile, one that practically SLICED her face in half! She bounced up and down eagerly like a piston, twisting and turning the weapon in her grip as she analyzed every last bit of it!

"EEEEEE! IhaveitIhaveitIhaveit!" The Majin squee'ed, holding it over her head proudly! Eschal would remark that she could consider it a reward of sorts... for helping him grow as strong as he did. The Majin would blink, snapping out of her giddiness for a moment. She glanced over her shoulder... and her eyes WIDENED, sensing that Eschal's power... wasn't ANYTHING like it had been before. She turned fully to face him, gun cradled against her chest, jaw dropped slightly as she beheld this man... But a toy a mere week ago... Now a genuine threat. She felt it... DOWN TO HER BONES (so to speak), and she STILL couldn't believe it.

How quickly have the turns have tabled.

"I... Uh..." Liari stammered, caught completely off guard by this revelation. She looked down at the weapon she held... feeling somewhat awkward that she had RECEIVED it willingly instead of having taken it herself. She glanced around at everyone, then down at her gun again... "...Thanks... I guess..." Liari mumbled... She then reared back, opened her mouth, dangled the gun over her mouth... and dropped it in.

Almost like a cartoon, the Majin would roll it around in her cheeks, brow furrowed as if in thought. Harsh CRUNCHING and SNAPPING could be heard, energy sparking and smoke flowing out from between Liari's lips as she chomped down upon it. Suddenly Liari's eyes widened... She then, with no small amount of difficulty, SWALLOWED the junk, it's mass bulging down her throat before settling in her gut... and disappearing inside as if it were but food!

*BUUUURRRRRP!*

"Ahem... So that's how that works..." Liari mused, holding her chin between her finger and thumb, having analyzed the weapon FULLY as she ate it! Now it was a part of her, as much as any person absorbed could be! She smiled, satisfied with herself as EACH ONE OF HER TENTACLES TRANSFORMED AT THE TIP INTO BLUE BLASTER-COPIES OF THE WEAPON SHE ATE!

"MWAHAHAHA! NOW I'M GONNA WIN FOR SURE! YOU FOOL, ESCHAL! NOW YOU GOT NO WEAPONS AND I HAVE ALL OF THEM! HAHAHA-" Eschal then mentioned that it was PROBABLY likely weapons wouldn't be allowed... you know... since it was a martial arts tournament. Liari stopped, stared... glared... then pouted, puffing out her cheeks in disappointment.

"...Spoilsport..." The Majin muttered, her tentacles turning back to their normal shape. Fooey... He was right. Stupid tournament and it's stupid rules...

...It was then that Veylora would approach the Majin. Liari would instantly brighten as she did, just being in her presence causing the Majin to blush softly and grin like an idiot. Veylora didn't have that same, easy smile on HER face though... If anything, the Majin would judge her to be... uncomfortable. Uncertain, perhaps.

"What... Earth?" Liari would ask, cocking her head. "Well... Yeah. It's fun! Lotta people here, some will even be STUPID ENOUGH..." Liari said loudly, looking over her shoulder at Eschal smugly. "...to give you things for nothing! Good food, fun people, it's great!" Veylora would then ask why she left all of it to see her. The Majin blushed a little darker and looked away, her dumb little smile growing a tad.

"...Because you're really interesting too..." Liari mumbled. "...I wanna know more... Maybe we could be friends...? Maybe...?"

Just then, the last person to take the test would head back into the waiting room, followed by a member of the staff who laid out the rules. They would all come up to a box, blindly pull out a ball, then those numbers would be randomly paired up for a match! Simple enough, simple enough.

...And like magic, Liari's name would come up first!

"HA! Of course it's me!" Liari smirked, sauntering right up to the box! Wiggling her fingers, she would dip her hand into the box and snatch up the first ball she found! She showed it off to EVERYONE like it was some kind of prize.

"3!"

Setting the ball aside, Liari would walk right back to where she stood before, beside Veylora, looking to see her reaction.

"I hope we get paired up together..." Liari murmured again, almost shyly to the demon. "It'll be fun..."

Rutaba’s attention bounced between everything at once like he couldn’t decide what mattered most. The gun disappearing into Liari’s mouth got a quick stunned blink, but he immediately forgot about it when Inugami offered the dumplings. Without hesitation, he leaned forward and grabbed one, stuffing it into his mouth whole.

“Thanks!” he said mid-chew, cheeks puffed out as he gave a quick thumbs-up. His tail flicked happily once before his focus jumped again, bouncing between Eschal, Liari, and the growing chaos of the tournament setup.

When Eschal spoke to him, Rutaba’s grin widened right away. “Yeah, yeah, I’m good!” he replied brightly, rocking on his heels. Then his eyes sharpened with excitement. “And I’m not just gonna make it far… I’m gonna see everything! Strong people, fast people, weird people—doesn’t matter!”

He pointed briefly at Eschal. “You got stronger too. I can feel it.” Then, without waiting for an answer, he spun back toward the machine.

By then the line had moved again. Rutaba hopped forward when it was his turn, rolling his shoulders like he’d seen the adults do. He cracked his neck once, placed his small fist against the pad, and punched without any buildup.

Blue ki compressed tightly around his arm instead of exploding outward. The machine lurched backward with a sharp metallic bang, rattling hard as the display flickered wildly before locking in:

212.

Rutaba leaned forward, eyes locked on the number for a moment. Then he gave a satisfied little nod. “Yeah… that’s me.”

Without wasting time, he moved over to the nearby box and reached straight in. His hand rummaged for a second before pulling out one of the small numbered spheres. He lifted it up, squinting at it in the light.

“…Seven,” he muttered, tilting it in his hand like he was testing how it sounded. Then his grin came right back. “Cool.”

He tucked the ball away casually and stepped back into the flow of competitors, already glancing toward the brackets being prepared. The noise of the arena washed over him — names being called, matches being set — and instead of overwhelming him, it just made his tail flick faster.

“Yeah…” he muttered under his breath, eyes bright. “This is gonna be good…”

His eyes opening once more to watch as Liari consume the ray gun a small chuckle suddenly escaped his lips before he corrected himself. Such an outlandish creature he has come to become acquainted to, but as he watched everyone converse, Inugami spoke to him in which he responded calmly,
"You can say that... Though I hope you get a chance to show us what you can really do. I'm quite expecting to see great things."
His words weren't mocking, but a factual truth that during the fight against Liari, Inugami hadn't had a chance to truly show what he was capable of. But as the Number Drawing had begun, pushing himself off the wall, his hand sliding into his pockets as he began approaching the staff holding the box. Removing his left hand from the pocket, he slowly put his hand in the box before pulling out a tennis ball with the number 9.
"9 huh?"
With it, the second staff put a badge with the number seven into Eschal's hand swapping it for the tennis ball as Eschal slowly walked back to the wall he was relaxing at. There he'd watch Liari stammering to some pointed ear woman with an odd nightshade like skin. Letting them have their conversation, Eschal felt he needed to ask Liari something, as such he spoke with a calm tone,
"Not to interrupt your conversation Majin Liari. But May i ask for a Favor? You know of the Saiyan People. Can you adorn me in such a fit? Something unique and not generic?"
And since the first time between their interaction Eschal gave Liari an honest bow, as if this favor was deeply impactful to him. Waiting to see if Majin Liari would honor him in feeling more like a saiyan he stayed in this position... Mean while from outside the waiting room music began erupting at the arena, the T.V monitors flickering on to reveal the performance at play.

Inugami nods with a smirk in response, then turns to the machine, his expression hardening as he focuses his strength. It's not enough to break it, but it's enough to give him a number. He cocks his arm back before slamming his fist into the pad, making the machine rock back and forth a bit before landing flat, giving him the number 187, something he's very pleased with. He turns back to Eschal with a confident smirk. "I'm looking forward to showing everyone what I'm capable of in today's tournament! Maybe find a worthy opponent in this tournament," he says. He senses how strong this man and Rutaba have gotten, and he feels thrilled at the prospect of seeing them show off their skills in the tournament then, he follows after Rutaba, watching him reach into the box, rummage around, and pull out a numbered sphere branded with seven. "Hmm," he hums to himself, watching the boy tuck away the ball and walk back to the crowd of competitors. Then it's his turn. He reaches in and pulls out a ball marked the number five, a number he wasn't expecting, more so than eight, ten, or thirteen. "I see, well, let's get this ball rolling," he snorts at his pun before walking up to Rutaba and ruffling the kid's hair. "Ready for this, kid?" he asks.

Listen while you read

Veylora didn’t move right away. She watched everything play out in that same quiet way, her gaze drifting from one person to the next without much interest. Rutaba’s energy, Inugami’s confidence, Eschal’s composure, Khelani’s result. None of it held her for long. Liari did. Her eyes settled there again, lingering just a second longer. The excitement, the frustration, the way she reacted to everything so openly. It hadn’t gotten any less obvious.

“You really don’t hide anything,” Veylora murmured, low and even.

Before Liari could answer, Veylora stepped in, closing the space without hesitation. Her hand lifted, lightly catching Liari at the chin, guiding her gaze back. Then she leaned in. Slow, deliberate. Their lips met briefly, soft and controlled, just enough to land before she pulled away again. Her expression barely changed, that same faint smirk, eyes half-lidded like nothing about it had been out of place.
1777287793392.png
“That should keep you focused.”

She held Liari’s gaze for a moment longer, then turned and moved toward the counter.

“You. Roll it.”

The official hesitated, then complied, pulling a sphere and running it through the system. The number appeared.

6.

Veylora glanced at it once, then away.

“That works.”
1777287864753.png
She stepped back from the counter, returning to her spot as if the whole process hadn’t mattered. Her gaze drifted back to Liari, just slightly softer this time.

“Don’t get eliminated early, I’d rather not wait too long.~”
Her voice almost peppy and cheerful

Then her attention shifted forward again, settling on the brackets like everything was already unfolding exactly how she expected.

Khelani pretty much just relaxed and was taking in all the strange and unique people who had shown up. It was definitely a wide variety of participants. There were even other kids that joined the tournament which she thought was quite interesting considering the number of adults that were participating. However, moving on, she watched everyone pull their numbers and took a mental note; figuring that the numbers closest to each other would be who fought each other. After the Veylora person, it was finally her turn; As such, Khelani walked up to the box and stuck her hand inside. She fiddled around for few seconds before grabbing a hold of one of the spheres and pulling one out; she'd look at her number then hold it up and revealed the number 11. Once her number was shown, she'd give it to one of the proctors and go back to her spot in the line.
Khelani (Mind): Out of all the numbers, 11. I wonder who i'm going to be paired up with since it clearly won't be any of the others.

Rutaba could barely stay still as the bracket flashed up on the big screen. His eyes zipped across the names super fast until he spotted his number.

Seven.

His grin exploded across his face. “Found it—!”

Then he saw the name next to his.

“…Lilli,” he said out loud, tilting his head like he was testing the word. He nodded once, firm. “Okay. Lilli.”

When Inugami stepped up and ruffled his hair, Rutaba scrunched his face and shook his head fast, trying to fix his spikes while his tail flicked behind him. “Yeah, I’m ready!” he shot back, already bouncing on his toes again. His eyes kept snapping back to the screen like he didn’t want to miss anything.

“I’m fighting a girl named Lilli,” he added, pointing at the board. His arms crossed for half a second before dropping again — too much energy to stay still. “I hope she’s strong,” he said, his voice getting a little more serious but still buzzing with excitement. “’Cause I’m not holding back at all!”

A tight flicker of blue ki sparked around his fist, controlled this time, before it faded. He rolled his shoulders and shifted his weight, already picturing the fight in his head.

The noise from the arena was getting louder — the crowd roaring, music pumping, everything building up. Rutaba’s eyes flicked toward the entrance, then back again. His grin returned, wide, eager, and a little wild.

“Yeah…” he muttered, tail swaying faster behind him. “This is gonna be fun.”

Adorning his new attire, keeping himself at a safe distance from the others, he began stretching his arms, legs, moving his tail; getting a proper feel of the attire. The Saiyan battle armor with a skin tight tank top of some sort of elastic material, the Fur hip cloth that had a slit for his tail to slip out of, the baggy black pants that tuck into a mix of Martial artist and Space boots; to the golden wrist bangs. His stretching soon shifted to strikes at the air, each jab of his fist to quick for those under 5,000 PL to even see, yet for him felt natural, his feet bouncing as his Saiyan genetics, no the Muscle memories of something he witnessed as an infant began to resurface in his mind. His body as if moving on its own slowly shifted its posture, his right leg bending letting him balance off the ball of his right foot, the left leg extending out against the waiting rooms surface. His left arm cocking back as the right hand presses its finger tips against the ground. His tail which became rigid as his expression had become somewhat more serious.
Eschal Strike pose.png
He knew not where this memory came from but for some reason he could remember the silhouette of a young woman during his time in the infancy pod, this same woman training with his father Cepa back on planet Cereal.

As if Mimicking a long suppressed memory of someone that he clearly knew and had some bond with Wether Familial or Familiar, that was unclear as he was but an infant during those days. But in this stance, the saiyan blood in him began flowing naturally through his fingers, arms, tail, legs, torso, and brain; a faint silverish aura like a haze flowing around him without revealing his true Battle power as he'd been suppressed the entire time (So no one knows his current max IC- Been suppressed since before the tournament.). A smirk curling on his lip, he couldn't help but straighten up,
"Huh... That was weird... Who was that in my memory..."
He said to himself in a low whisper as his eyes slowly shift to the screen watching as Liari's opponent had begun her assault.

Inugami chuckles at the boy's excitement when he replied, seeing him hopping from foot to foot and pointing out who he's fighting, he couldn't help but laugh a little at how adorable the kid can be when he is pumped for a fight "I see, hopefully she is strong enough for you to have fun" he comments before scanning across the screen, looking for his opponent until he finds his own face there yet wonders when did they have the time to get a picture of him but when he looks to who he will be fighting, he couldn't help but look disappointed and annoyed "I'm fighting.......a furry?" he comments with a twinge of annoyance noticeable in his tone "She looks like a bunny rabbit" he says a little louder for Rutaba to hear.

Walking through the dark alley's of west city, the sounds of boot to concrete echoes; Breaking from the shadows into the light of the high noon's sun was a man, human in nature though augmented with Android/cyborg components as his Sky blue eyes slowly rise to stare forth towards where the Tenkaichi tournament was being held. The sound and roar of the crowd's the sudden soaring child out of the arena through the city all being observed by this mysterious man. A black body suit covered his torso with its tail coat flapping behind his Oak brown trench coat. Gloved hands concealed in the coats pockets, as his black joggers are constricted by armored knee pads that don't effect his mobility and shin high combat boots. His total silence which made him near invisible to the passerby civilians as his semi long black hair fluttered with the gust of air that violently followed the flying child.

Taking a step forth once more, his attention was not so much on the Tournament, but the forces that thought they could lurk in the shadows, his objective was a High Value target, the commander of the Red Ribbon Armies Science division. As such he began moving forth, silence following him as he proceeded towards the source of an underlining project. And though he moved with a professional efficiency of the Greatest Assassin in the Multiverse, within .05th of a second he had vanished from the city side walk, reappearing on the rooftop of the largest building over seeing the Tenkaichi Tournament grounds. It was here that he witnessed the Head scientist calibrating some kind of pod with what can be described as a child within it, floating in some sorta of fluid.

Scalli's expression remained neutral, as his target was his priority, the child mattered not to him; his left hand slowly pulling from his coats pocket, the fingers curling into a balled fist as his gloves stretched appropriately to fit a tightly clenched fist. A faint Nightshade purple aura flooding around him, though for some reason there was no power to be sensed, but this had a logical reasoning behind it, this was because the Scalli visibly on the roof was technically not actually there, but rather his physical body and energy was located in a personal pocket dimension called the Tides of Time.

As Scalli's arm slowly pulled back, his eyes locked on the scientist in front of the Large container, his arm shot forth with an efficient blow, from his knuckles shot out a kiai locked in the Tides of Time that swiftly closed the distance of Scalli and the Red Ribbon Commanding Scientist. Passing through his back and chest before Tides of Time on the Kiai was lifted with the use of Time Release. This would ultimately cause the chest cavity and back to have a fist shape cave in, crushing his heart in an instant but also unintentionally cracking the containing chambers glass, though not breaking it.

Scalli Aura.png
Watching as his target goes forward into the tank before sliding to the ground as a useless corpse, Scalli's left hand slowly slid back into his pocket. With his Aura fading away, he slowly leaped down from the Building, propelling himself down towards the audience stands over looking roof, his action caught the eye of the Ultimate Idol, Ai Yukino who originally was being at Awe at Eschal seemed more flustered during her performance from this mysterious trench coat wearing man. Though Scalli's attention now focused on the matchin between a human and a animal kin human, he remained silent, observing carefully.

Suddenly as he watched the fight between Inugami and a rabbit, his Holographic device alerted him of a new high- value target, a contestant in the Budakai Tenkaichi tournament, with a bounty of 20,000 Platinum Pol to eliminate a Galactic Patrol, but also a Saiyan. As his eyes fixated on the Hologram the recipient remaining anomalous, saying "I wish for the filthy primate to suffer." With the bounty placed, deactivating the holographic device as he slid it back into his coat's pocket. His hand's slowly sliding back into his trench coats pocket's, his feet slowly lift from the surface of the Stadium platform, his body beginning to float as for an instance his body flickered in and out as if his was after imagining where his body seemed to flicker in and out of Reality.

His positioning shifting one second from the Viewing stands balcony overlooking the Tenkaichi Tournament, to appear within the waiting room of the Contestants. Where most of the contestants were watching the match of Inugami and the Rabbit, letting the Human modeled Android to easily appear without being noticed, under two factual pretense; as an android his Ki is classified as Artificial, the second reasoning being the usage of his Time-Skip which allowed Scalli to move within a Pocket Dimension moving forward .05 of a second. During that moment it allowed him to move freely into a linear transitioning movement which allowed him to go from one location to his current positioning. Though he stood in front his target who was completely unaware of the fate awaiting him. Scalli looked at the Saiyan, his pale blue eyes staring with an intent that can only be described as Murderous Intent. Though Scalli remained silent, just as Eschal was about to speak, Scalli's muscles contracted triggering the activation of Time-Skip; where time seemingly came to a stop, or rather was accelerating personally for Scalli by a Five hundreth of a second allowing him to quickly strike his right knuckle into the saiyan armor of Eschal. As time resumed or rather caught up, one second Eschal is looking about to speak to this mysterious man, the next moment his eyes slowly avert down to notice the right knuckled pushing into his stomach as purple particles scatter out behind Eschal's body.

As the impact in real time catches up to the attack that Scalli had delivered upon Eschal's stomach, the force suddenly erupted and distributed across the torso of the saiyan and his armor, Eschal's body propelling through the wall as the force cracks and shattered the bricks and concrete behind Eschal sending him flying out of the Waiting room. The saiyan's body tumbling and skipping across the fields where Scalli suddenly accelerated his movement entering a Z-step where he'd relocate towards the trajectory of the Saiyan caught off Guard by his first attack; Scalli's left hand swiftly reaching out, his fingers curling across the face of the saiyan just as he reached him. With a swift fluid motion, Scalli redistributed the momentum of Eschal into a swift head slam into the surface of the field, cracking and spreading like a hairline web spreading in an erratic circular formation. Eschal though caught off Guard suddenly released his Ki, his Battle power reaching its utmost max, 7,050 Battle power was released and yet he was unable to get the mysterious man's grip off his face.

Eschal in a sort of desperation to get distance began delivering violent wide hooks, left and right, each blow directly slamming into the cheeks of Scalli though would not budge him as his eyes darted frantically to see if any would come to if he fired a ki blast. Noticing that no life was around his left hand mustered forth a ball of silver prismatic energy before slamming it point blank into the chest of Scalli sending smoke to billow across the chest of Scalli. His pale blue eyes looking into Eschal's panicked Grey eyes, Scalli's right hand suddenly raised, cocking to his side as a faint mirage like effect began spreading across his fist. Eschal seeing this strange phenomena swiftly fired another Ki blast, though this time as if missing it soared up into the sky just as Scalli's fist crashed into the chest of Eschal, directly stopping the Saiyan's Heart. As Eschals hands fell to his sides, the light fading from his eyes, Scalli slowly rose up on his feet, letting go of the Saiyan's Face as he slowly pulled two syringes from his coat. Using both he drew two vials of the saiyan's blood, the first vial for his own ambitions, the second vial as proof of mission completion as this was his known trademark of assassination. With the Mission to assassinate Eschal completed, Scalli slowly turned away, his body flickering in and out before swiftly vanishing as he relocated himself to the outskirts of West City where he'd have his hologram device upload the Blood sample, turning the dna and plasma into data which would be sent out to the Sender of the Mission.

Meanwhile, As Eschal's Ki blast began to fall, it found itself slamming into Eschals chest, restarting his stopped heart as he suddenly gasped for air, yet this sudden revival left his body numb and weak, unable to even lift himself from the ground...

Liari had grown a little bit bored with these preliminaries...

It was just little people fighting little people, nothing really to be concerned over or worth watching... Yet. Instead, her attention turned elsewhere, ANYWHERE... SOMETHING to steal her attention for a moment. While everyone was focused on the fight going on before them, Liari detected something else... POWER!? COMPARABLE TO HER OWN!? ...And it was familiar and in distress?

Liari glanced off in it's direction, taking a moment to identify it's source: Eschal... Yes, she felt that power before... When she last did, he had powered up even MORE MIGHTY than he was now to try and defeat her! He was her favorite, her little rival, if there was such a thing... and he had the AUDACITY to go somewhere else and FIGHT someone else!? SHE WAS GONNA HUMILIATE HIM IN FRONT OF A CROWD AND HE WAS OUT HERE FREE-GAMING!?

Subtly, Liari would step back, her body smoothly spitting into two and reforming whole. She left a perfect clone in her wake if this little investigation took longer than she thought, Liari herself slipping away in the direction of her quarry. The closer she got, the more rapidly Eschal's signature seemed to fade, the further out from the tournament grounds the Majin was made to travel. Her face scrunched up in confusion as the saiyan's signature bled away from his location... he was dying.

"But how...?" Liari thought, brow furrowed in annoyance more than anything. "...He's almost as strong as I am. Who could do that to this guy...?"

Liari... wouldn't get an answer as she followed the light of a falling ki-blast, landing just within the scene of the crime to see Eschal broken... beaten... barely alive.

Barely breathing.

Liari stared down at him, expressionless. She almost couldn't believe what she was seeing, both in genuine, human disbelief... and like that of a starving predator having stumbled across a freshly killed corpse. A quick glance around the area indicated neither witnesses... nor a perpetrator, her senses giving neither away either.

"Well, well." Liari would say, crouching down beside the downed Saiyan. "You wouldn't BELIEVE how disappointed I am to see you like this, Eschal. I mean... I was supposed to be the one to do this to you, yet.... here you are, knocked on your stupid butt by some NOBODY." Her expression hardened, becoming one of anger, disappointment... but mostly... hurt?

"You know, I don't really appreciate you fighting other guys... I mean, we have something special- HAD something special... then you had to go on and MUCK IT UP, dying like you are..."
She sighed and shook her head. "Great... now I gotta play EVEN NICER with these other schmucks just in the hope that they somehow get as good as you... so I can REPLACE YOU- This would've been so much easier if you just weren't DYING right now!" She huffed, frustrated plumes of steam blasting from the holes lining her body.

...Then a thought would occur to the Majin.... and her expression flipped... into a smile.

"...But don't worry, my friend. I'll heal you up... I'll make you good as new and then you'll be mine forever..."
She would reach over and place her hand on Eschal's chest, magic crackling at her fingertips...

"BUT, on the other hand..." SUDDENLY the Majin's hand would STRETCH AND ENTANGLE around Eschal's broken, defeated body, becoming like a cell engulfing it's prey and smothering the Saiyan!

"Don't struggle... You'll only hurt yourself..." Liari would whisper soothingly... as her magical flesh crushed and shrunk and condensed Eschal within it's grip! "...Just lie back and think of... justice."

If the man was unable to escape her, Liari would compel the mass to SPLASH BACK UPON HER, the two... becoming one. Unearthly sounds would rumble from the mass of flesh as it twisted and mutated, the Majin growing several inches as she began to take human form once again! as the details lined out, Liari would stand... 6'8" inches, tentacles reaching down past her rear, a fresh breastplate over her chest...and a new fuzzy green sash across her waist... all of the fit she had made for Eschal.

image0.jpg

...and of course... there was POWER. GLORIOUS POWER!

"Heheheh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Liari would belly-laugh, throwing her fists up to the sky in victory! "THIS IS GREAT! I'M EVEN MORE POWERFUL THAN I WAS BEFORE!" Her aura boiled, her power felt like it would ERUPT from within, her energy spiking, twisting... and then, she SWALLOWED IT, tamped it down. As much as these new saiyan instincts, these new MEMORIES burned in her mind... the majin FORCED IT ALL SILENT. She was in control... and she wasn't yet ready to show off just yet. Instead, Liari would lick her lips as if she had just eaten a scrumptious meal, casually flying back to the arena.

"Oh Eschal..." she sighed, flexing her fingers experimentally. "You weren't good for much... but I promise I'll put this to gooooood use...."

Shinji Devil Man was chaos incarnate, a creature unbound by morality or ambition, driven only by the relentless pursuit of his next desire. He descended upon the town like a whirlwind of mischief, his first act a stealthy raid on the local convenience stores. Soon, he was a walking avalanche of junk food, arms overflowing with chips, chocolate bars, and every manner of sugary sin. For reasons known only to himself, the young delinquent was scantily clad, flaunting a custom white "Devil Man" jacket and a pair of black jeans – an ensemble that screamed defiance. A shock of untamed silver hair framed his face, but it was the crimson red devil horns that truly seized the gaze, a blatant declaration of his infernal nature. He sauntered down the street, a manic grin splitting his face, revealing rows of razor-sharp, shark-like teeth. Glances turned to glares, but fear held the onlooker's captive, lest they provoke the devil's spawn. His very presence radiated an aura of dread, capable of instilling primal fear in the hearts of the weak.

1778443712858.png

As Shinji finished his spree, visions of a sugary feast danced in his head, but fate had other plans. A sudden spike in energy readings yanked his attention towards a nearby ruckus, a battle brewing with the promise of delightful chaos. A sly, predatory grin stretched across his face, revealing those razor-sharp teeth once again.

“Interesting…”

He bolted towards the commotion, a whirlwind of white and silver, his crimson horns practically vibrating with anticipation. He had no intention of getting his hands dirty, not yet anyway. He wanted to savor the symphony of destruction, to judge the combatants, like a connoisseur appraising a fine wine and perhaps, just perhaps, he would witness a display of raw power, if not he might find a way to make things a whole lot more interesting. After all, what's a devil without a little meddling? A puppet master without strings to pull? The thought sent a shiver of delight down his spine, a promise of delicious anarchy to come.

The victor of the battle mattered not to him, not yet at least. Shinji had high hopes to witness a glorious clash between the two combatants, a ballet of destruction worthy of his discerning eyes. He perched himself high above the arena, using a magical ward to sit comfortably in mid-air, like a devilish gargoyle overlooking the unfolding drama. Snacking on stolen delicacies and enjoying the show, his eyes were glued to the battle below. It seemed to be some sort of tournament, he figured, as he noticed a large crowd of spectators eagerly watching. This made the terms and conditions even more interesting. How would the fighters perform under the weight of expectation, being watched by hundreds of eager eyes just waiting for the final outcome? The pressure alone could shatter the strongest of wills, and Shinji was eager to see who would be the first to crack.
