Listen while you read - Bellra's battle theme
The signal brushed past her. Sharp, direct, intentional. Bellra didn’t need more than that. Her eyes shifted slightly in its direction, already tracing the path it implied. Lotren didn’t waste motion, so if he sent something like that, the situation had already escalated past delay. She exhaled once, steady.
“…Hmm? something must be wrong....” No hesitation. Her stance shifted and then she was gone.

Her movement cut clean through the air, controlled and efficient. No flare of energy, no unnecessary spikes in speed, just enough to close the distance as quickly as needed. As the castle came into view, she didn’t slow. She assessed.
One energy unstable and fading, one pressing forward with force, another close and controlled, and Lotren already engaging. The moment she entered range, the
details sharpened. The king was lifted and restrained, barely conscious. The one holding him was the immediate problem. The other was observing. Her eyes settled on the one gripping the king’s throat.
“…That one.”
Lotren’s barrage hit first, blasts tearing through the courtyard and flooding the space with smoke. Bellra adjusted instantly, shifting her path to intersect the chaos instead of avoiding it. She entered the smoke without a sound. Inside, visibility dropped away, but it didn’t matter. Presence was enough. The one holding the king hadn’t moved far.
Bellra stepped in. No wasted motion. Her body turned just enough and her strike cut in fast and precise, angled to force the grip to break by targeting the arm holding the king rather than the body. Not overwhelming, not reckless, just exact. The moment contact was made, she followed through just enough to disrupt balance, then shifted her weight back, creating space for the king to drop free without being caught in anything that followed.
She didn’t chase or overextend. Instead she repositioned, sliding just off Lotren’s line, aligning her stance with his angle of attack. Supporting, refining. Her gaze flicked briefly toward him.
“…Lotran, I'm here. ” She spoke just loud enough for him to hear her.
“lets keep the pressure.”
Her posture lowered slightly, weight settling, body angled between both threats now. The king was no longer in their grasp. That was enough for the first move. Her attention shifted briefly to the second opponent, still composed, still watching. Good.
“…Expected this to be a booty call....” she muttered quietly. Her stance didn’t change nor did her breathing change.
Then she stepped forward again, not fast, not explosive, just enough to close the space and make it clear she wasn’t reacting anymore. She was taking control of the engagement.
