The Caffaian (カフィアン, Kafian) is a humanoid species of extraterrestrial beings originating from the Planet Moka (惑星モカ, Wakusei moka), located in the South Galaxy. In addition to its many skin tones, including mocha, bronze, espresso-black, and pale ivory foam, the species is well known for its sharply pointed ears, purple eyes, and long tails. The Caffaians are a mono-gender race, giving them all a distinctly feminine appearance and instinctively maternal behaviors that are more animalistic, akin to mammals in Earth’s ecosystem.

Naming Scheme: The Caffaians ' names are based on coffee and various other coffee types, giving them a wide range to fit their theme.

Environment:
Orbiting in the cold outer reaches of its system, Planet Moka is a colossal gas giant defined by a gravitational force nearly forty times stronger than Earth’s, crushing and shaping everything within its reach. Rather than solid ground, its habitable regions exist within dense atmospheric layers where pressure and temperature briefly stabilize, allowing life—like the resilient Caffaians—to endure among vast, drifting landmasses formed from compressed minerals and crystallized gases. The planet’s skies churn endlessly with violent storms, streaked with constant lightning that fuels both the environment and the evolution of its inhabitants. Below these layers lies a crushing ocean of super-dense matter, while above stretches a freezing, radiation-filled void, leaving only a narrow band where survival is possible. Wrapped in a powerful magnetic field and illuminated by glowing auroras, Moka is less a planet and more a relentless crucible, where only beings of immense strength and adaptability can survive.

Appearance:
The Members of the Caffaian Race have almond-shaped eyes with iris colors in rich jewel tones—most commonly violet and rose-pink hair, elongated and slightly tapered ears. These numerous skin tones vary from pale pink, Pale Taupe, Chamoisee, Copper Rose, and Camel. They have dark violet-blue blood, though the shade ranges from violet to blue.

Biology:
They do not require a partner to reproduce, as they are capable of parthenogenesis, though they also possess the ability to reproduce with other species, regardless of sex. The Caffaians have a lifespan of up to a millennium, making them one of the longest-lived species in the universe. They retain youthful appearances for most of their lives, with only subtle signs of aging appearing in the eldest among them.

The Caffaian Race is known for its strong gravity-based abilities, which are common among members of the species on Planet Moka. They also excel in biotechnology, enabling them to engineer advanced weapons, medical tools, and interstellar ships. Their laboratories are capable of cross-species bioengineering, often producing abominations and hybrid lifeforms with limited abilities in their bloodlines. Selective members of the species possess the ability to adapt and evolve through combat, enhancing their strength, speed, reflexes, and overall battle prowess—an ability many refer to as Pure Progress
.

Mutant Caffaians
The Mutant Caffaian is a genetically altered species that was created thousands of years ago. The surviving experiments displayed unique mutations and evolutionary abilities that differentiate from those of the typical Pureblood. From the first mutants, their bloodline and evolutionary traits were passed down to their descendants, who also display unique mutations stemming from their ancestors and life on their homeworld or other planets, which contribute to their growth. From different documented subjects, certain lifestyles and environments have also played a major role in their evolution, so that even the oldest members of their kind have become hardened and powerful enough to try and conquer a world on their own, but have been cases of failure due to the selective Mutant Caffaians being incapable of adapting and combating in alien environments from different planets while others can easily adapt and live among other species.

Diet:
The Caffaians of Planet Moka maintain a deeply spiritual pescatarian diet that reflects their oceanic environment and their cultural reverence for aquatic life. As amphibious, gravity-hardened species, they evolved in vast seas teeming with powerful, bioluminescent creatures. Consuming marine life became both a biological necessity and a sacred tradition, believed to sustain their connection to the planet’s gravitational pulse. Their cuisine prioritizes energy efficiency and mineral-rich nutrition, with every meal designed to replenish the body’s natural ki flow and sustain their intense metabolisms under 40× Earth’s gravity.

At the core of their diet are Gravitusk Eels, Velven Shoalswimmers, and Pearlweavers—creatures uniquely adapted to Moka’s crushing depths. These species contain concentrated bioelectric and mineral energy that harmonizes with a Caffaian’s ki network, making them ideal sources of nourishment and strength. Caffaians consume them raw, steamed, or preserved in mineral salts derived from volcanic vents, often seasoning with luminescent algae or powdered coral. Unlike many carnivorous alien races, Caffaians reject land-based meat entirely, viewing it as spiritually “flat” and devoid of the gravitational resonance they require to maintain balance.

Gravity Ki
Gravity Ki (重力気 — Jūryokuki), but commonly called by the Caffaians, Ten’atsu Ki (天圧気, “Heavenly Pressure Ki”) is a form of Ki produced uniquely on Planet Moka. Ten’atsu Ki is primarily practiced and focuses on weight, pressure, and momentum instead of overwhelming destructive power. This type of Ki allows the user to control and manipulate foes and objects with dark blue or violet black coloration. Caffaians can compress energy into highly concentrated attacks, generate crushing gravitational pressure, and enhance physical strikes.

Trade Off:
For Caffaians to truly improve themselves is by applying suppressive gravity on themselves that restricts their Ki circulation, makes movements harder under certain circumstances, reduces combat effectiveness temporarily, and applies weight on their body and power level that will accelerate their growth in long-term improvement of their ki control, improving adaptation, stamina, speed, and rising body efficiency over time.

Innate Ability
Eventide Chains: an innate ability within the Caffaian Race for producing spiked, dark blue chains that vibrate with Ten’atsu Ki and are constructed from "anchored pressure points" in localized gravitational force. These chains allow them to restrain animals of various sizes and opponents, suppressing their movement. destabilizing Ki flow and restricting movements that force the opponent to fight on the ground.

Race History
The homeworld of Caffaians is a gas giant with a gravity forty times that of Earth, which helped them evolve and granted them greater strength and gravitational capabilities. Their planet has three moons orbiting it, each harboring animals and species they hunt to survive. Despite this, they are a very optimistic species that considers anything beneficial, leading them to their first conquest in the galaxy. Their focus then shifted to the planet Kōrōji, home of the insectoid Hachiyō-jin (八葉人, Eight-Leaf People), who have sleek chitin armor, eight limbs, multifaceted crimson eyes, spiny thoraxes, and curved mandibles. They are a primitive hive-minded species that excel in coordinated battle tactics and were confronted by Queen Caffira, leader of the Caffaians, and her legion, initiating “The War of Silken Gravity."

The war lasted three months, during which the Caffaian army annihilated thousands of insectoid brood members using brutal and merciless tactics. They dispatched each lieutenant to leave each company leaderless, then eradicated them with heavy casualties on the frontlines, employing their gravitational powers to crush and flatten the insectoids until nearly driving them to extinction. The Queen led the final charge against the underground fortress that housed the last remaining Hachiyō-jin brood and sentinel warriors, who protected the Six Hachiyō Broodmothers — Queens of the Hive and Hive Gods, having birthed and nurtured their species since the galaxy’s early days. The Queen and her legion left no one alive, slaughtering every insectoid from hatchlings to fully grown soldiers. However, the Sentinels, a small army of three hundred, put up a fierce fight in a conflict known as “The Chrysalis Siege,” which became one of the bloodiest battles of the Kōhī Conquest.

The battle lasted five hours until only the last Sentinel, Khar’Zul, The Last Fang of the Hive, and The Bane of the Caffaians remained standing. They had slaughtered many of the Queen’s soldiers during the war, assimilating their abilities and evolutionary traits. Khar’Zul fled the planet, abandoning the Broodmothers to their fate. Queen Caffira met them with her blade, slaughtering and eradicating them all in the royal chamber, bringing the War of Silken Gravity to an end.

The Caffaian Empire fully conquered and laid claim to the now vacant Planet Kōrōji and completely wiped out the Hachiyō-jin Species, with the only record of their existence found in the archives of their many conquest; however, Khar’Zul remains the only member of his kind to escape Queen Caffira’s wrath, and to this day, he hasn’t been found. They harvested and mined the rare minerals they found deep in the planet and harvested the rare substance called “Nectar of the Core Womb,” but known in Caffaians terms, "The Nectarum Ultima" that they use to conduct experiments on the volunteers who offered their bodies in the name of the Caffaian Empire, This resulted in many deaths while only three percent of the many returned as “Proto-Mutant Caffaian.” then their offsprings are born as “Mutant Caffaian.” Even Queen Caffira underwent the procedure and became the Queen of the Hollow Pulse, then produced twin heirs who became powerful Mutant Caffaians and established House Caffira; such action carved the path for the future of the Caffaian Empire.

For Thousands of years, the Caffaian Empire waged a campaign to establish its sovereign dominion throughout the southeastern sector of the South Galaxy in Universe 6. The empire established its government and kingdom as “The Bloomborne Empire” and “The Gravethread Concord”. The Bloomborne Empire set its gaze upon a world inhabited by various draconic species and behemoths of mountainous scales. The humanoid reptilians, known as the Dracirans (ドラキラン族, Dorakiran-zoku), had established themselves as a star-faring civilization, renowned for their neutrality and participation in trade. The Kaldaroths (カルダロス, Karudarosu) are ancient living titans—a blend of biological lifeform and elemental force. Born during the creation of Pyrros itself, they are said to have merged with tectonic ley-lines, becoming one with the world’s living core.

The Bloomborne Empire sought out the Dracirans to make a trade deal that would allow both parties to mine and trade minerals between both empires to establish an alliance, since the Dracirans embrace a neutral and peaceful philosophy, guided by a spiritual understanding of life’s balance. They believe in coexisting across all worlds, seeking only to survive, adapt, and evolve—building prosperous kingdoms united through strength, harmony, and elemental kinship. Queen Caffira, ever the political woman, decided to agree with the terms and establish a base there to allow transportation access between both worlds, and allowed the Dracirans to come to their planet to cultivate rare sponge-like corals that proved to be beneficial to the Dracirans, who eat them like delicacies to their carnivorous appetite, feasting on serpentine-like organisms that thrive in lava.

The Bloomborne Empire discovered more worlds that inhabited life that proved to have more races that sought to expand like them, but one race they earned an ironclad relationship with by participating in a rite of swordsmanship that caused a spectacle among both species when Princess Latissya and Velvettia took part in a duel with elite Konatsian warriors, the two force fiercely to win but turned into a stalemate, the combatants fought over and over again on every world they encountered the Konatsian duo, such encounters has left deep cuts and fractures on the land until Both Queen Caffira and King Veylor of Konats decided to form a pact between both people and formed a united army under the many banners of each leader from their respective factions. The next war was initiated by the Kashvar race, which sought to annihilate all life except their own, deeming themselves superior throughout the universe while viewing other species as scum and pathetic creatures. The Kashvar race summoned Zylacore, their champion and weapon of war, to wreak havoc upon the Konatsian population, but when they sent the beast to the planet, it killed many in the struggle, and the secondborn heir, Velvettia of the Caffaian Queen, sacrificed herself to save her twin sister, Latissya, from being crushed by the monster. The shock of Velvettia’s death sent a shockwave through the empire upon hearing the beloved princess’s demise at the hands of the Kashvar race, which pushed the entire might of the Bloomborne Empire and Konats into war with Queen Caffira and King Veylor, leading the charge in “The War of Veiled Stars.”

The United Caffaian and Konatsian Army made their retaliation known when they sent a team inside one of the temples and ignited a bomb that leveled eighteen acres of land and infrastructure in the blast radius, killing every kashvar inside and soldiers from their respective empires, sending a message to the rest of the Kashvar that they have brought the full might of their army upon them but knew this is only the beginning of this war. The Kashvar sent their beast, Zylacore, to face the army with some wizards to control and direct it against the combined armies that marched towards Zhak'hal'Zan, the city of the Kashvar population. The war tore up and scorched the land, turning it into a battlefield.

Zylacore slayed and crushed many Konatsian and Caffaian warriors, forcing many to flee, while Queen Caffira and King Veylor stayed behind to fight the beast, coordinating attacks that forced it to harden its phase out into its phantom form, a similar ability to its predecessor. Using an enchanted sword, Veylor managed to mortally wound the creature with each strike, which worried the Kashvar wizards who controlled it, but they did not notice Princess Latissya sneaking up and killing them instantly, thus ending their control over Zylacore. The king would deliver several strikes of his sword on the beast, severing its arms and tail before stabbing it in the chest, while Caffira unleashes a massive attack of gravity that crushed and severely injured Zylacore until Veylor severed its head, putting an end to the demon forever. Then, they led the charge onto Zhak’hal’Zan. The war that lasted several hours quickly ended when the United Army slaughtered the wizards, thus ending their evil tyranny; however, Caffira was still mourning her second child. Her hunger for vengeance remained unsatisfied after slaying Hirudegarn and the responsible wizards. She yearned for blood; she longed for a child—a child’s life. So she sent her daughter to capture tribe leader Varnak’s young son, Surnak, who yelled for his father as Latissya dragged the boy out into the open, to the feet of Caffira, who wore a face full of anger and sadness as she declared a fair trade between both monarchs—a child for a child. Varnak would learn how it feels to lose something close to his heart before decapitating the boy in front of the Kashvar leader, who wailed in agony over his son’s now lifeless body. Latissya quickly ended his life as well, decapitating him.

In Zhak'hal'Zan, the Bloomborne Empire and its allies met in a council meeting to discuss matters related to the Kashvar and the recent death of the empire's leader and sole heir in front of everyone. Despite being unhappy with the way things were handled between the Konatsian and Caffaian, many blamed the Kashvar for starting a war because they believed themselves to be superior to other races, but in truth, they lack the strength to fight their own battles and rely on a demon to do so instead. Caffira was not happy with the decision of the Council of the Southern Quadrant to expel the Kashvar from their galaxy, forcing them to find another planet for their people, so she devised a plan to eliminate them all. She is taking only a hundred soldiers with her to execute the Kashvar Extermination, so they do not pose a threat to the people of the South Galaxy. She waited when the Kashvar were far from the Galaxy in their ships, then attacked, eradicating every single one until they were put into extinction forever with only documents that contain their existence; no one knows of their fate except the hundred Caffaians.

In the year 3000, the Caffaians flourished and made technological feats on their homeworld, amassing bio-ships of various types: cargo ships, mining ships, transport flagships, colony ships, capital ships, and dreadnaughts, making profit and expanding their empire while colonizing other worlds for their growing population of Caffaian people. Their galactic trade also expanded under the rule of the Second Queen Latissya.
