Name: Minerans
Homeworld: Planet Marbalia
Environment: Minerans home-world is an extremely lush and technological planet within the Central Area of the Prime Realm. The planet has a natural gravity that is about 1,000x Earth's gravity. They also have a strange weather system that usually has thunderstorms for the first half of the year then snowy winter skies for the couple months, and finally clear skies and warm summer temperatures for the last quarter.
Naming Scheme: Like the Planet Name suggests, the Minerans are named by a play on (or) after types of Minerals.
Appearance: Minerans resemble humans more than anything but with a gem embedded into their foreheads, they also have slightly bigger bodies than Saiyans which often gets them called ancient beasts within their own universe. They possess a variety of hairstyles and they only have a slightly longer lifespan than humans, their active nature and lifestyle mean they burn through their years faster than a human, putting their average lifespan at 100 years. Few careful and quieter Minerans may live to see 150 and usually hold roles as elders. Despite aging fast, this species does not feel the usual effects of old age until months before their death, many still adventuring within the last year of their life. They also possess the fastest adaptability when it comes to living in different environments, being able to control the temperature of their bodies to some extent helps them continue to survive in even the most extreme of environments.
Racial Traits: Supernatural Strength, Stamina & Durability | Immense Speed, Endurance & Agility | Immense Perception | Temp. Control | Energy Absorption/Drain | Diamond-Shaped Ki | Spiritual Ki

Yūrei Shift: A rare Mineran ability that allows the user to partially or fully phase their body into a pocket dimension known as the Ghost Layer, granting them a spectral form where physical attacks, ki blasts, and even sensory detection pass through them harmlessly. From this half-astral state, the Mineran can re-materialize limbs or unleash ki attacks from impossible angles, appearing as if their blows emerge from thin air. They can drift through the battlefield in ghostlike skips, absorb or redirect energy into dimensional rifts, and bypass nearly all forms of defense. However, the technique burns massive amounts of ki, risks destabilizing the user’s form, and prolonged phasing can fray their spiritual essence, making Yūrei Shift a devastating but dangerous spectral weapon unique to the Mineran race.
Gemstar Erasure Cannon: The Minerans’ ultimate crystalline annihilation technique fueled entirely by the radiant gem embedded in their forehead. To unleash it, the Mineran channels every strand of refined ki, Dimensional Ki, and spiritual power into the gemstone, causing it to blaze with a star-like brilliance that fractures the air with prismatic veins of light. The user then forms a precise hand sigil or stance that aligns their ki flow with the gem’s geometric resonance, pulling microscopic particles of matter, energy, and even spatial fabric into a tightly compressed Gemstar Lattice Field, a rotating diamond-shaped construct made of vibrating, sub-atomic crystalline energy. Once stabilized, the Mineran releases the attack as a focused beam or expanding geometric blast, and whatever it touches is broken down at the molecular, atomic, and spiritual levels simultaneously. The Gemstar Erasure Cannon shatters its target into crystalline particulates of pure energy, which then implode into the Ghost Layer, erasing any trace of what was once there. Even defensive techniques such as barriers, ki shields, or regeneration abilities struggle to endure its piercing, restructuring nature, as the attack targets the blueprint of matter itself. The blast carves clean, geometric voids through mountains, spaceships, or even energy constructs, leaving behind floating prisms of refractive particles that collapse like dying stars moments later. However, using this ability severely strains the gem: heat fractures spread across its surface, the user experiences brutal neurological backlash, and overuse risks completely shattering the gemstone; an irreversible event that can erase the Mineran’s ability to manipulate ki or even collapse their own body into crystalline dust. As such, the Gemstar Erasure Cannon is reserved only for moments where a Mineran intends to end a battle, a threat, or an entire battlefield in a single, overwhelming flash.

The Yūrei Gene is a rare, dormant evolutionary system woven deep within Mineran DNA which is a self-sacrificial power protocol; a biological ignition sequence that awakens in response to great danger, mortal resolve, or the Mineran’s acceptance of their own death. The awakening is divided into Eight Sequential Phases, and each phase progressively unshackles the natural limiters the Mineran body imposes on itself, allowing them to wield spiritual-based ki, demonic-looking energy effects, and explosive physical enhancements. These forms are not mere powerups; activating them burns life force, cellular potential, and even the soul’s stability, giving the Minerans an aura of tragic, ghostly warriors.
Phase 1 Ghost Primer: The first awakening of the Yūrei Gene is subtle yet chilling, as the body begins loosening its mortal restraints for the first time. Thin, ink-black spectral tracings bloom beneath the Mineran’s skin, crawling from the chest or forearm like living shadows. Their pupils sharpen into razor points of pale silver or blue, and the air around them drops a few degrees as faint breaths of cold vapor seep from their pores. This phase doubles the user’s physical and spiritual output, granting them the ability to access raw Spiritual Ki, a eerie, soul-tinged energy that feels heavier and colder than ordinary ki. Reflexes sharpen beyond natural levels, driven by the body’s quiet rejection of its humanlike limitations. Although the strain is mild, using this phase leaves the user with an odd sense of fatigue like they’ve stepped halfway out of their own skin.
Phase 2 Wraith Infusion: In the second phase, the Yūrei Gene begins spreading influence deeper into the Mineran body, causing the markings to branch across the neck and upper torso. The user’s hair flutters upward as if exposed to unseen currents, while the aura intermittently flickers between normal ki and ghostlike wisps that stretch unnaturally before dissolving. The Mineran’s physical strength, reaction speed, and durability spike dramatically, and their pain receptors dull to near uselessness. They begin showing signs of phasing; brief, instinctual flickers where portions of their body slip partially out of the material plane, allowing certain attacks to pass through harmlessly. However, this unnatural enhancement places strain on the circulatory system, causing the blood to thicken and heat, forcing the heart to beat harder to sustain the transformation.
Phase 3 Phantom Catalyst: The third phase is the moment the Mineran transitions from merely awakening power to becoming something otherworldly. Glowing veins burn beneath the skin, pulsing in slow rhythm. Their hair sprouts streaks of pale white or neon hues, and every movement generates a fragmented after-image that trail behind for a full second before evaporating. With a multiplier far surpassing earlier phases, speed becomes so intense that even short steps rupture the air with spiritual shockwaves capable of bypassing conventional defense. The user gains the ability known as Flicker Step, allowing them to partially shift into the astral layer to reposition near-instantly within short ranges. Yet this power is a double-edged sword; when the phase ends, the mineran is left with torn muscle fibers, burning joints, and fogged vision, consequences of pushing organic matter into spaces it shouldn’t exist.
Phase 4 Hollow Gate Release: The fourth phase marks the first truly dangerous threshold of the Yūrei Gene. At this point, the markings have engulfed an entire side of the body like a cursed mantle of darkness. One eye turns completely black save for its glowing iris, and the user’s voice gains a deep, reverberating undertone, as if two entities speak at once. Their aura grows denser, displaying rippling distortions in the surrounding air. Massive increases in strength, spiritual overload, and destructive ki capability occur here. The body hardens with thin layers of ghost-iron density, allowing the Mineran to tank blows that would cripple others. But this power comes at immense cost: the chest compresses painfully with every breath, and each second drains stamina like a leaking faucet.
Phase 5 Soul Unchaining: Phase five marks the midpoint where the transformation shifts from physical liberation to spiritual unraveling. Both arms become engulfed in luminous markings, and a fractured halo appears behind the user. Their hair spikes upward in sharp, chaotic tufts, appearing almost metallic in sheen. The power granted is catastrophic: the user’s ki can form semi-tangible constructs like chains, spears, shields, or runic emblems, and their physical attacks resonate through multiple planes, battering the soul along with the body. Sensory perception expands into Soul Radar, allowing them to detect not only life but intent and emotional signatures across wide distances. But every moment spent in this phase burns away substantial portions of life expectancy; days or even weeks vanish as the Yūrei Gene cannibalizes the user’s future to fuel the present.
Phase 6 Yūrei Ascendant: The sixth phase is where the Mineran begins to transcend mortality in both appearance and presence. The markings glow with searing intensity, radiating white or crimson light depending on the user’s personality, past traumas, or inner nature. The hair becomes partially translucent, shimmering between visibility and spectral haze. Their aura emits faint, eerie wails like souls and the air warps around them with unstable gravitational pulses. Here the user achieves universal-level strength, speed, and durability; each strike generates multi-layered shockwaves capable of rupturing natural and dimensional barriers. They can freely shift into a half-astral state to pass through attacks or position themselves for devastating counters. However, the biological toll is severe: the heart exceeds safe output levels, ribs vibrate painfully, and microscopic ruptures appear in blood vessels, threatening internal collapse with prolonged usage.
Phase 7 Ethereal Overdrive: By phase seven, the Yūrei Gene transforms the Mineran into a divine specter of destruction. The entire body becomes coated in intensely luminous markings. This state annihilates all mortal limiters, allowing the Mineran to move at speeds rivaling instantaneous techniques and punch with force capable of splitting dimensions. Their signature attack, Soul Desolation Beam, is powerful enough to erase not just matter but the spiritual essence of anything caught in its path. This state is almost never achieved as most Minerans die from one of the previous forms, there has only ever been ONE Mineran to achieve this form and successfully use the Gene without harming themselves.
Phase 8 Phantom Oblivion: The final phase is the truest form of the Yūrei Gene—a complete fusion of physical existence and spectral transcendence. The markings no longer cling to the skin; instead, they peel away like burning paper, orbiting the user as glowing fragments of spiritual scripture. They achieve Phantom Dominion, manipulating spiritual pressure so intensely that entire armies collapse in terror or paralysis at the mere presence of the form. However, this is also the most dangerous of the phases as unlike the previous form which are the safest, this one is the ultimate sacrifice; its activation almost guarantees death once the timer expires. Even brief usage risks shattering the soul into fragments. Only warriors willing to abandon their humanity and mortality entirely ever reach this final gate; earning the fearsome title of Ghost Sovereign IF they survive.

Race History
Like the Hera Clan, the Minerans were a dangerous race who traversed the galaxies, destroying whatever they wished, and cared very little about consequences since most races didn’t pose a threat to them, excluding races like the Frost Demons and the saiyans. Though, they were the only race from universe 1 that was allowed to universe hop so long as they are not caught, many of them migrated to universes 6 and 13 just because that’s where they felt the most comfortable outside of their own universe. Due to their own planet having such a powerful gravitational pull, the Minerans' physical traits are better than other races when on planets with a lesser gravitational pull. They look similar to humans, but some have pointed ears and all of them have sharp canine teeth. Extraordinary members of the race, such as Olivine, are able to utilize Demonic and Draconic Ki while also being far more advanced in technology than earthlings and are able to breathe in the vacuum of space. This race WAS known throughout the 1st universe for their ability to absorb life energy rather it’s from animals, or other beings.
Planet History
The planet is called "Marbalia" and is located in a distant galaxy. The inhabitants, known as Minerans, are a warrior race of aliens that closely resemble the Saiyans. They possess great physical strength and a natural inclination towards combat, making them feared and respected throughout the galaxy. The look of this planet is very colorful which gives it a unique and vibrant glow compared to other planets, the lands are all in mysterious shapes, the water there is a reddish-pink like color, and ALMOST every land is full of nothing but forest and wildlife, aside of the highly advanced technology on some of the continents of the planet. This planet also has a very unique ring going around the entire planet made from different gas particles making it seem like multiple rings when it's only one. Also home of the Rotarian race. The planet has 3 islands that the choose to live on, these islands are Strahk, Tetska and Yuuntav. While the planet is gorgeous itself, some areas have a harsh, rocky terrain with high mountains, deep valleys and a thick, toxic atmosphere. As such, the Minerans have adapted to the harsh conditions by developing a tough, durable physiology and the ability to breathe the toxic air. They also possess the unique ability to harness and manipulate energy, known as "ki", to enhance their physical abilities and perform incredible feats of strength and power.
They have a strong sense of pride and loyalty to their community and will defend it fiercely against any perceived threats. They have a warrior code of honor and will often engage in one-on-one combat to resolve disputes or prove their strength. Overall, The planet and its inhabitants are a fierce and powerful warrior race that are respected and feared throughout the galaxy. However, a malevolent being known as Ahriman soon arrived on their planet. Ahriman was a dark entity of immense power, seeking to conquer and destroy everything in his path. He arrived on Planet Marbalia with his army, bringing chaos and destruction to the once-thriving planet. The Minerans fought valiantly against Ahriman and his forces, using their incredible strength and durability to hold their own in battle. However, despite their best efforts, they were eventually overwhelmed by Ahriman's dark powers and forced into hiding. For centuries, the Minerans lived in uncertainty, constantly on the run from Ahriman and his minions as they plotted against him. They formed small pockets of resistance, using guerrilla tactics and cunning to strike back at their oppressors whenever possible.
Despite their hardships, the Minerans never lost hope. They continued to work towards a day when they could free themselves from Ahriman's grip and reclaim their home planet. Finally, after centuries of struggle, that day arrived. Through a combination of clever planning and sheer determination, they launched a surprise attack on Ahriman's fortress, catching him off guard and striking a decisive blow. With the main threat defeated, the Minerans went on and eradicated the Army of Ahriman and enslaved him in their prison chambers. Unknown to them, this would allow him to constantly enter mind battles against the race as well as grow his own powers through mind training and meditation.
Even though they were victorious, reclaiming their planet and rebuilding their civilization. They continued to hone their incredible strength and skills to ensure they never lost like that again. The leader of the Minerans at the time also ordered A small group of them to take Ahriman as a prisoner on their ship and trap him on their 3rd moon Zaratite. Though, unbeknownst to them, Ahriman allowed himself to remain imprisoned on their moon for centuries until he finally reached his desired level of power. Here, Ahriman killed the group of Minerans who were watching over him and continued on to planet Marbalia where he once again created a warzone, though this time over half the population was completely wiped out before he was defeated for a second time by them. However, this time was due to the new queen unlocking the races’ Yūrei Gene. Even though Ahriman was not killed, part of his body was still left intact and untouched, thus allowing him to regenerate himself. As extra precaution, they kept him locked away inside of a heavily secured and high tech facility that negated his powers and prevented him from escaping. Adding the fact they were given the title as being the “saviors” of universe 1, and their “Yūrei” Gene became a myth as time passed until the shattering happened and caused their planet to be thrown into a random location within the Prime Realm.
