After having his arm cut off by his father Celius (Future). His uncle Mazu later crafted him a new arm later down the line made from super adaptive nano-tech. The arm fused with Kain's body and keeping an almost organic appearance aside from the slight glow it gives off which reveals the metallic structure beneath. The arm is controlled entirely through his mind and the arm itself can reshape itself into whatever he pleases. The arm also absorbs and stores ki to enhance its overal power, causing patterns and streams of energy to emerge across the surface and it increases. At its full power, the arms leaks the energy almost like smoke and fire surrounding it that is capable of unleashing higher-level attacks and making stronger weapons. Finally, the arm is able to rapidly regenerate from damage by recalling scattered nano-units, making it less of a machine and more of a living extension of Kain's spirit that continuously evolves and grows stronger alongside him.
