Bellra x Lotren
Lotren and Bellra had been bound together since the ages of four and eight, when they were assigned to the same unit from the very beginning. What started as simple compatibility in training quickly became something deeper, something neither of them had the language or care to define. Even as children, they moved in sync without needing to speak, their instincts aligning as if they’d been built to fight side by side. Bellra would already be where she needed to be, and Lotren would already be adjusting around her. He learned her rhythms the way he learned combat itself, quietly, deliberately, until fighting beside her felt less like teamwork and more like second nature. Even as children, he carried that subtle, almost disruptive detachment; making dry remarks where others stayed rigid just enough to throw people off. As they entered their teenage years; Lotren at 12 and Bellra at 16, that bond shifted into something heavier, something Lotren didn’t fully understand but couldn’t ignore. He became fixated on closing the gap between them, not out of pride, but out of a quiet, unspoken need to stand beside her as an equal. His protectiveness sharpened, turning instinctive and territorial in subtle ways he didn’t notice; standing closer than necessary, positioning himself between her and others, his tail absentmindedly wrapping around hers during moments of stillness. He’d find himself holding her without thinking, drawn to her in a way that felt natural and inevitable. Around others, when her name came up, his demeanor would cool into something quietly warning, and on rare occasions, under his breath, he’d refer to her as his “home”, a word he never once let her hear. He wasn's sure if Bellra noticed any of it, but she never pushed him away, and in her silence, there was a quiet acceptance that only deepened what existed between them.
By the time they reached adulthood; Lotren 18 and Bellra 22, their connection had become unshakable, something others recognized but chose not to interfere with. They fought as one, moved with precision that bordered on instinct, and trusted each other in ways that went beyond strategy. To Lotren, Bellra had become something absolute, someone he couldn’t lose, someone who, in the quietest parts of his mind, already belonged to him in a way he’d never say aloud. That truth was tested the first time he saw her unconscious on the battlefield, buried and unresponsive. Believing she had been killed, something in him broke completely. What followed wasn’t a fight but a slaughter; he tore through every enemy with a level of violence that surpassed the "highest" of Saiyan brutality, leaving nothing alive in his wake. It was only after the destruction ended that he returned to her and realized she was still alive. He never spoke of what he’d done, never explained the aftermath, and Bellra never asked, but there were moments, brief and knowing, where it felt like she understood exactly what had happened. Years later, at 26 and 30, whatever they were had long since moved beyond definition. They existed like something more than partners, more than companions; something understood without needing to be spoken. Lotren no longer hid his attachment; his closeness was constant, his touch unguarded, his presence always drawn to hers without restraint. And yet, even now, there were things he kept to himself. He never told her about that day, the extent of what he did, how far he went for her, and he never called her “home” where she could hear it.

Personality: Lotren was not meant to be anything but a weapon. Born beneath steel and raised between two opposing philosophies; his mother’s ruthless Saiyan instinct and his father’s refined, almost ritualistic control, he grew into something dangerously balanced. Where others chose between force or precision, Lotren learned to blur the line entirely, shaping his ki into tarot-like constructs that reflected both chaos and intent. But somewhere along that path, something unexpected formed. Unlike the rigid warriors around him, Lotren developed a quiet defiance, not through rebellion, but through attitude. He began to carry himself with a subtle, almost playful detachment, masking his sharp intelligence behind dry remarks. He would provoke when others expected obedience, disrupt when situations grew too rigid, and inject an almost unsettling levity into moments that demanded seriousness. It wasn’t immaturity; it was control of a different kind. If he could shape energy, he could shape perception. And if people underestimated him, that only made things easier. Despite his upbringing, Lotren is far from cold. His time on Earth, and especially his connection with Khalani, awakened something he doesn’t fully understand. Like his tarot constructs, his emotions exist in fragments; unlabeled, shifting, difficult to grasp. He expresses care in ways that feel indirect: lingering when he could leave, stepping in without acknowledgment, masking concern with teasing or offhand comments. In battle, this duality becomes most apparent. He fights with fluid unpredictability, blending instinct and precision into something almost theatrical, as if each movement is part of a larger, unseen design. He may toy with opponents, misdirect, or shift demeanor entirely depending on the “card” he embodies in that moment. Yet beneath it all lies the same unresolved core: a Saiyan shaped by conquest, now pulled by something far more human. Lotren stands between those worlds, no longer just a soldier or a prodigy, but something far more dangerous; someone who chooses when to be serious, when to be careless, and when to reveal just how much he truly understands.

Void Ember: Void Ember is a cold-burning ki manifestation that consumes stamina and energy output instead of causing visible destruction. Its aura resembles smokeless black fire with dim embers drifting upward, and those struck by it show no wounds; only a gradual dimming of their own aura. Rather than explosive force, Void Ember destabilizes internal ki circulation, slowing reactions, weakening muscle response, and accelerating fatigue as if the opponent had fought for hours. Advanced mastery can leave invisible “embers” embedded in a target, triggering secondary drains later in the fight. The effect is terrifying because its damage is subtle and accumulative; the opponent often doesn’t realize they are losing until their power fails them. Its limitation lies in immediacy; it rarely overwhelms instantly and requires sustained contact or repeated exposure to fully collapse a foe.
Racial + Passive Techniques
• Mimicry: Lotren is capable of instantly learning techniques performed by other fighters after seeing them only once.
• Superhuman Strength: Saiyans naturally possess vast superhuman strength, far greater than that of Earthlings and other alien races and are veritable fighting machines. They are capable of easily lifting ten times their own weight.
• Superhuman Speed & Agility: Saiyans possess tremendous levels of superhuman speed, easily capable of breaking the sound barrier, even with their basic moves. They also have much faster reflexes than an average human; reflexes so fast that they can avoid a bullet without any trouble at all or even catch them with no harm.
• Superhuman Durability & Endurance: Saiyans possess enormous amounts of superhuman durability and are a remarkably resilient species who refuse to be physically broken. Even as children, Saiyans are easily capable of taking on bullets (at least those belonging to small arms such as handguns and machine pistols), explosions or sharpened objects and come out relatively unharmed, and as even younger infants, are able to survive extreme head-trauma and stunt forces.
• Zenkai Boost: A genetic trait that continually lets a Saiyan recover faster and increase in performance against adversity, either by healing from great injuries or enduring great struggle in battle. Lotren's Saiyan Power seems to be exceptionally strong compared to normal Saiyans, able to jump to new transformations from the experience.

Basic Techniques
• Ki Sense: The ability that allows the user to sense ki and power levels.
• Ki Blast: The most basic form of energy wave.
• Flight: The ability to take flight through the manipulation of ki. However, as a Saiyan, Lotren already possesses the innate ability to fly.
• Kiai: A technique where the user affects the air currents around him with ki to produce powerful shockwaves in order to strike the opponent at mid-range.
• Wild Sense: A variation of the Afterimage Technique that allows Lotren to counterattack right after dodging an opponent's attack.
• Invisible Eye Blast: A Kiai shot from the eyes.
• Rapid Movement: Lotren moves with great speed, which creates the illusion of teleportation.
• Punisher Drive: Lotren slides forward then uses Rapid Movement to attack an opponent while invisible. If the attack successfully lands, multiple invisible blows land on the opponent, and Lotren appears behind them while they are stunned.
• Rising Vortex: A hard uppercut, followed by an elbow bash and a downward spinning kick.
• Double Sword Style: Time Cutter: Lotren creates an energy blade to use alongside Time Cutter.
• Surprise Blade: Lotren charges at his opponent and then buries them with a series of slashes. After that the enemy gets sent in the air with a powerful blow and finished with a double slash from a powered-up sword.
• Power Ball: By combining ki with the planet's atmosphere, a sphere of condensed Blutz Waves is created. Using this, a Saiyan can achieve the Great Ape transformation even when a full moon (or similar planetary body) is not present. However, using the technique is apparently very tiring, so it is primarily used as a last resort, and even Saiyans that can use it prefer to transform using a planetary body. The Power Ball disappears after 90 minutes.
Brave Slash: Lotren slashes the opponent with multiple sharp ki attacks created by his sword.

• Wild Cannon: A black/purple ki projectile fired by Lotren by punching an energy sphere in his other hand to produce an energy wave. Lotren's signature Special technique.
• Punisher Shield: Lotren swipes his left arm out to slice the air with a purplish barrier of sorts before delivering a swinging downward kick. The barrier reflects any energy blasts from afar as a giant blue blast, and Lotren can teleport behind the foe to kick them at a higher angle down into the ground.
• Reversed Phase Wave - Lotren can reverse the effects of Blutz Waves, causing them to mix and implode, thus resulting in the target Saiyan losing their Blutz Wave induced form or power up. It can be used in conjunction with the Surprise Blade.
• Rising Vortex: A hard uppercut, followed by an elbow bash and a downward spinning kick.
• Death Beam: Lotren extends his right arm and fires a small, thin, very fast and concentrated laser-like beam of ki from his index finger, which barrels down and pierces through the opponent. He is able to fire the attack very quickly, while maintaining precise aim, he is also able to fire it from his thumb.

Ascension Path
Lotren’s path embraces and refines saiyan insticts. He has kept his tail, and with it, a direct connection to the Great Ape, or Ōzaru. Rather than seeing this form as a crude or outdated transformation, he views it as the purest expression of Saiyan power; the root from which all other strength grows. His training has been centered on repeatedly entering this state and forcing himself to remain aware within it. At this stage, he has reached a level of controlled Ōzaru, where he can retain his mind and act with intention even while possessing immense, primal power. This marks the foundation of everything he intends to build going forward. From here, the direction he is pursuing involves compressing that same Great Ape power into his base form, rather than expanding into it. This concept aligns with the Wrathful, or Ikari state. Instead of transforming into a giant ape, the goal is to channel that raw, instinctive strength into a humanoid body without losing its intensity. For Lotren, this is not simply about gaining more power, but about maintaining the same predatory instincts and physical dominance while improving speed, control, and efficiency. He is working toward a state where his movements become more animalistic yet deliberate, like a hunter rather than a berserker.
Beyond that, his path continues toward integrating this primal foundation with Super Saiyan transformations. Instead of treating Super Saiyan as a clean, emotional trigger, Lotren’s approach is to force it to emerge on top of his controlled, instinct-driven power. The first step in this direction would resemble a restrained or incomplete Super Saiyan state; something akin to the A-Type, where the transformation exists but feels suppressed, as if a deeper power has yet to surface. This stage represents tension between control and release, where his body holds back more than it expresses. If that restraint begins to crack, the next phase of his intended path would resemble the more unstable C-Type state. Here, the influence of his Ikari-like foundation would begin to distort the Super Saiyan form itself, causing fluctuations in power, increased physical strain, and a more volatile aura. This is not a form he aims to remain in, but rather a threshold; a sign that the boundary between his controlled instincts and his transforming power is beginning to collapse. Ultimately, the direction of his training points toward a state where that collapse gives way to something more complete: The Legendary Super Saiyan. However, unlike the traditional interpretation of that form as purely berserk, Lotren’s goal is shaped by everything that comes before it. By starting with control over Ōzaru and building upward, the intent is to prevent total loss of awareness even as his power increases. The end of this path is not simply overwhelming strength, but the ability to exist within that strength without being consumed by it.

Transformation Log
Oozaru (Great Ape): From the time Lotren first went into the the Great Ape transformation, he refused to see it as a mindless abomination of Saiyan savagery. To most Saiyans, the Ōozaru form was a surge of uncontrollable, moon-fueled destruction; a tenfold amplification of power at the cost of reason. But Lotren viewed it differently. Where others saw a beast, he saw untapped potential. He studied the biology of the transformation, the way Blutz Waves stimulated the Saiyan tail, the hormonal surge, the explosive expansion of ki reserves. Under controlled artificial moons and brutal conditioning sessions, he forced himself not just to endure the transformation, but to remain conscious within it. The first attempts were chaos. Instinct clawed at his mind, drowning strategy in primal hunger. But through relentless meditation taught by his mother and neural discipline drills designed by his father, Lotren learned to anchor his awareness. He stopped fighting the beast and instead integrated it, accepting that the Great Ape was not separate from him, it WAS him. Mastery came when he no longer lost himself to the form. As a Great Ape, his eyes retained clarity. His movements became precise rather than wild, calculated rather than purely destructive. He could compress the overwhelming tenfold power instead of wasting it in reckless blasts. Over time, he pushed further; asking a question no Saiyan had fully answered: what if the power of the Great Ape did not require the body of the Great Ape? Through years of training, he learned to trigger the internal surge without initiating physical transformation. Instead of expanding into a colossal form, he condensed that primal amplification into his base state. His aura thickened, darkened, and pulsed with the weight of something ancient. His pupils sharpened, his ki density multiplied, and the ground beneath him fractured under the controlled pressure of restrained Ōzaru might. This state did not rely on an external moon; it relied on internal command. Though he was able to do it only once, the power also hurt him the longer he was in the form and couldn't sustain it for more than a few minutes. As such he decided it was best that he couldn't go back into the form since he didn't even know if it could be mastered or if it would kill him.

(I'll edit the story itself after the battle)
Lotren’s first breath was drawn beneath steel, the warship of Lord Shivero is where he was born. It was no place for a child, yet that was where his story began. He was born not into a family, but into expectation, the son of two warriors whose names carried weight even among Shivero’s elite. His parents were not merely strong, they were rare. In a race defined by raw brutality, they represented refinement, discipline, and something dangerously close to evolution. From the moment he was born, Lotren was not seen as a child, but as potential waiting to be groomed. His father stood apart from every Saiyan who had come before him. Where others relied on instinct and overwhelming force, he wielded energy with intention, shaping it into precise, almost ritualistic forms. His techniques blurred the line between ki and something deeper, something that felt closer to magic than combat. Lotren’s mother, however, was the embodiment of Saiyan purity; fierce, relentless, and devastatingly efficient. Her power was direct, explosive, and absolute, honed through countless battles across the stars. Together, they represented two extremes of the same force. Within Lotren, those extremes combined. Even as an infant, his energy flickered in ways that unsettled seasoned warriors. His training began long before he could understand it. Under his mother, he learned to fight as a Saiyan should; fast, aggressive, and without hesitation. She taught him to trust his instincts, to let his power erupt without restraint, to dominate rather than hesitate. From his father, he learned something entirely different: patience, control, and the art of deception. Energy, his father insisted, was not just something to release but it was something to shape, guide, and to give meaning. Lotren struggled at first, caught between two philosophies that demanded opposite instincts. But where others might have broken, he adapted. By the age of eight, he was no longer switching between styles; he was blending them.
It was during this time that his fascination with tarot began. The symbols meant nothing to him culturally, but visually, they resonated in a way he could not explain. Each card felt like a concept, a fragment of something larger, something ordered within chaos. He began shaping his ki into thin, glowing constructs; black and violet cards. His father encouraged the creativity, while his mother tested its effectiveness in combat. The result was something neither of them had fully anticipated. Lotren had turned his power into something that could confuse as easily as it could destroy. By the time he turned ten, he had already begun to draw attention beyond his parents. Lord Shivero himself observed the boy’s progress with quiet interest, recognizing something uniquely dangerous in his development. Missions became more frequent, and expectations grew heavier with each passing cycle. Then, without warning, everything changed. A routine assignment claimed the lives of his parents, leaving behind no bodies and no answers. For the first time, Lotren experienced something unfamiliar; absence without closure. The void they left behind was not filled with grief alone, but with a question that would linger far longer than any wound. Shivero did not discard him. Instead, the tyrant took him in, reshaping his training with a more calculated hand. Lotren was no longer just a soldier in development; he became something closer to an investment. Under Shivero’s guidance, his hybrid abilities sharpened into something far more precise and dangerous. Discipline replaced confusion, and control became second nature. By twelve, he was no longer being prepared; he was being used. Missions were no longer simulations, and failure was no longer an option. Yet even as his strength grew, something within him remained unresolved.
At thirteen, Lotren was assigned a mission that would mark the next step in his evolution. The launch was routine, the calculations precise, and the outcome all but guaranteed. But fate, as he would later come to understand, does not obey calculation. A comet tore through his path without warning, shattering his trajectory and crippling his vessel. For the first time in his life, Lotren lost control completely. His pod spiraled violently, dragged off course into a distant, insignificant system. When he crashed, it was not onto a battlefield or a hostile world. It was onto Earth, a planet that felt quiet in ways he did not understand. Survival came easily to him, but understanding did not. Earth was not governed by conquest, nor did its people measure worth through strength alone. Its rhythms were slower, its conflicts quieter, its lives… ordinary. Eventually, his path crossed with Khalani, a girl who carried her own quiet storms beneath a controlled exterior. Over time, what began as disruption became something she unconsciously relied on. Their connection was not forged in dramatic moments, but in accumulation. Time spent together, repeated encounters, and small, unspoken gestures built something neither of them acknowledged at first. Lotren, who had never understood attachment, found himself drawn to something he could not overpower. Even his blunt confession did not change things; it simply revealed what had already been there. For Khalani, it became a quiet anchor in a life she was still learning to navigate. For Lotren, it was something far more unsettling. It was the first time his strength had no answer. Now, standing on a world that was never meant to be his, Lotren exists between identities. A Saiyan raised by conquest, shaped by loss, and refined by something far more human than he was prepared for. His tarot constructs have evolved alongside him, reflecting not just strategy, but emotion he cannot fully name. Each battle, each interaction, pulls him further from the path he was created to follow. And somewhere beneath the instinct to grow stronger, to return, to prove himself, something else has taken root. For the first time, Lotren faces something he cannot defeat. And that uncertainty may shape him more than anything that came before. Now he plans to rebuild the saiyan empire as the new King of Saiyans.
