Overview
The Veyrans are an ancient humanoid warrior race originating from Planet Veyra in Universe 7. They
are known for their naturally dense and refined Ki, strong physical bodies, and high level of combat control. Unlike many warrior races that rely on rage or transformation, the Veyrans are recognized for their efficiency, discipline, and ability to fight powerful opponents without losing composure. Due to the harsh conditions of their home-world, the race evolved with unusually stable energy flow, allowing them to maintain high levels of power without wasting energy. Because of this, their presence often feels heavier than that of normal fighters, and experienced warriors can sense the difference in their Ki.

History
Early Origin
The Veyrans originated in the distant regions of Universe 7 long before the rise of most modern civilizations. Their homeworld, Planet Veyra, was a high-gravity planet filled with dense natural energy fields. Because of these extreme conditions, their bodies developed greater durability, and their Ki evolved to be naturally stable and concentrated. Survival on Planet Veyra required both strength and control, which led the race to value discipline over brute force. Warriors who could not regulate their energy often died at a young age, keeping the population small but naturally powerful. Over time, the Veyrans became known as fighters who could remain calm even in dangerous battles, and their energy was often described as unusually heavy compared to normal Ki.Expansion Era
Thousands of years before Age 700, Veyran warriors began traveling beyond their homeworld. They never formed a large empire, but individuals became known across multiple star systems as elite fighters. Veyrans were often hired as mercenaries, guardians, or protectors by powerful civilizations. Because of their small numbers, they rarely fought in large armies, but a single Veyran was often considered equal to many ordinary warriors. Their reputation spread through stories of warriors who fought stronger opponents without losing control, and some believed their energy resembled that of divine beings even though they were still mortal.Conflicts and Decline
Because their race was rare and powerful, the Veyrans were often drawn into large conflicts across different parts of the universe. These wars slowly reduced their population, as their slow reproduction rate made it difficult to replace fallen warriors. During one of the later conflicts, Planet Veyra was heavily damaged, causing the natural energy fields that sustained the race to become unstable. Without their homeworld, many Veyrans could not develop properly, and the race began to scatter across the universe. By the time of the Saiyan era (around Age 737), the Veyrans were already considered rare, and most civilizations believed the race had gone extinct.Homeworld
Planet Veyra
Planet Veyra was the original homeworld of the Veyrans, located in the outer regions of Universe 7. The Supreme Kai identified it as a planet that has extremely high gravity in a dense atmosphere, powerful natural energy fields and harsh terrain. These conditions forced the Veyran race to evolve strong bodies and stable Ki in order to survive. Many off-world visitors described the planet as feeling heavy even before landing. After the destruction of the planet’s energy core, the world became unstable and was eventually abandoned, leading to the near extinction of the race.Physiology
Veyrans resemble humanoids, but their bodies are naturally adapted for high-level combat. Some are more built than others. Members of this race naturally possess strong bone structure and high muscle density, giving them bodies that are durable, resilient, and well-suited for combat and extreme environments. They are born with a high natural Ki capacity, allowing them to store and control large amounts of energy without strain, while maintaining a stable and balanced energy flow throughout their body. This stability grants them strong resistance to pressure, gravity, and harsh conditions that would overwhelm most mortal races. Their aging process is slower than that of ordinary beings, enabling them to remain in their physical prime for long periods of time. Their Ki is naturally dense and refined, causing their presence to feel heavy and overwhelming even when they are calm, yet because their energy is so controlled, they do not require large or explosive auras to use high levels of power.
Culture
Veyran culture was built around control, discipline, and mastery rather than conquest or destruction. Their philosophy valued balance over rage, efficiency over brute force, discipline over aggression, and endurance over quick bursts of power. From a young age, warriors were trained to regulate and stabilize their Ki before ever learning how to increase it, as losing control of one’s energy was seen as a sign of weakness and immaturity. Because of this mindset, strength alone was never enough to earn respect among their people. Leadership was not determined purely by bloodline, but by proven mastery, mental stability, and the ability to maintain control under extreme conditions.
The ruler of the Veyrans was chosen through an ancient tradition known as the Trial of Dominion, a ritual created to determine who was truly worthy to lead the race. Any warrior who successfully completed the trial earned the title “Apex of Veyra”, a name given only to the highest warrior of their kind and the one entrusted with preserving the race’s legacy. To pass the trial, the challenger had to demonstrate perfect control over their Ki, endure extreme gravity without losing stability, defeat elite warriors in combat, and prove they could release their full power without their energy becoming unstable. Because of the trial’s difficulty, only a few Veyrans in all of history ever held the title. Before the fall of their civilization, the final law of the race declared that the title of Apex would remain even if their kingdom was destroyed, ensuring that the strongest surviving Veyran would always carry the name and uphold the legacy of their people.
Specific Racial Abilities
Veyrans possess several natural traits that make them strong fighters.“It’s not about how much ki you have, it’s about how efficient you are with the ki you do inherit.”
- Dense Ki — Their energy is heavier and more concentrated than most races.
- High Ki Control — They can regulate power with great precision.
- Strong Physique — Their bodies can handle high levels of combat.
- Efficient Energy Use — They waste less energy than most fighters.
- Combat Adaptability — They learn quickly during battle.
- Pressure Aura — Their presence can feel heavy to weaker opponents.
- Long Lifespan — They age slowly and can remain in their prime for centuries.
Present Era (Age 3000)
By Age 3000, the Veyran race is believed to be nearly extinct. Most of their homeworld was lost long ago, and only a few survivors remain scattered across the universe. Ancient records still mention the race, but many people believe the stories are exaggerated. On rare occasions, fighters encounter a warrior whose Ki feels unusually heavy and controlled, reminding older civilizations of the Veyrans. The current bearer of the title Apex of Veyra is one of the few known members of the race still active in the universe, and his reputation has spread through battles across multiple star systems. Not all Veyrans reach high levels of power, but those who do can become one of the strongest in the entire multiverse.
